On Friday we all went to AMHC volunteer dinner, as you all may know the girls volunteer out there every summer and love it (except Bay she hates it most of the time). They have prizes for all the volunteer's and then raffle's throughout the night for fun items that have been donated from business throughout the valley. Maddi received 2 awards this year, this first being the Dairy Award which means she was an outstanding cow milker !!! and the 2ND was the YOUTH VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR (they only pick 3 volunteers for this award). For her award she won a free dinner at Firehouse Pizza, several passes to the Fun Park, and hair cut a Valhalla.
The way they pick this one is by the overall attitude of each volunteer and their willingness to do jobs with a smile. Maddi had 222 hours for the year. Bayley had 181 hours and Aezley had 255 hours they both received awards for being outstanding volunteers, Aezley loves the farm and would go everyday is she could, her favorite part is the new little farm animals and her true loves are the farm kittens. Before the dinner we had a chance to go through the corn maze. Bayley liked hiding in the corn and scaring us at each turn, Aezley heard a little kitten and was worried more about finding the kitten then getting separated from her family. And Maddi my little ham tried to pose as often as possible for a picture.
I just have to say they had great prizes 1 from Best BUY for $100, dutch ovens from camp chef, Anniversary Inn Packages and many more. As always Buddy and I always tease that he will win the Spa prize because he is a GUY and he gives himself hes very own haircuts and guess what he won a Gift Card for any spa service for a Manicure, Pedicure or a HAIRCUT. HA HA....
