Lake Powell 2009

Well Lake Powell was great this year. Even though i was unable to ski, wake board, Surf or do any thing somewhat normal, It was fun watching the kids accomplish goals and learn to wake board this year. Maddi got up on the wake board on her first try. and every try after. It was defiantly a confidence booster for her. Buddy got out of the boat to help Bayley and Aezley. Bayley cried and said she couldn't because she was too cold . ( who gets cold at Powell ). Aez didn't get up but we were excited that she wanted to try. Usually were bribing the kids to try anything. The tube is so boring for the adults. !!!!! Some day..... they will realize this...... we can only hope.

We were at Powell for 6days. By the end i had cankles and swollen feet that appeared to be hobbit feet. Aezley loved catching as many lizards as she could. We did however lose a few in the process. She loved Carma a little to much and we lost Carma to lizard heaven, then there was Josh, he lost his tail and yes he went to the other side as well.

The water was so nice and refreshing.
I do have to admit there were a few mornings that i wanted to cry because i was worried that it would get to hot for me. But i did survive......





Our first day at Powell it rained. We have never been at Powell when it has rained, so that was pretty cool. The second day it was so windy that we pretty much stayed back in our little cove area and stayed near the house boat. Aezley found yet another creature that was ...... YES DEAD she liked poking at the fishes eyes and body and anything else. She claims she was running an Experiment on the dead.....
